DAVENPORT — Russell P. Jett, 62, of Davenport, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at his home.

Visitation is 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a time of sharing at 6 p.m., in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Graveside services and burial are 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Those wishing to attend should meet at 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Honor Flight of the Quad-Cities.

Russell Paul Jett was born April 16, 1951, in Springfield, Ill., the son of Richard Thomas and Norene Hope Smith Jett. He married Jeannie Walter on Feb. 24, 1974, and the couple later divorced. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a tool and die maker.

Russ is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mathew and Patrice Jett of Davenport, and Paul and Sara Jett of Franklin, Ind.; two grandchildren, Jacob and Olivia Jett; and brothers, Mark Jett and Sam Jett, both of Davenport.
