Doug was a very good friend at one time, and was the best man at my wedding. Changed his name to Klondyke later on. I wish he had a better and longer life.

I was a very close friend of Doug's through out HS. Lost track of him after college graduation. Although I tried several times over the years to track him down, never had any success.

Would appreciate any info as to what happene to him over the years.

Doug was a good friend in HS and we got together many times after he left UNI and I returned from Viet Nam.  One day he just stopped coming around and it was many years before I heard word of him.  Both Mark Andrews and Craig Nord informed me that Doug's (Klondyke's) body had been pulled from the Mississippi River.  His death was ruled an accident, although many folks thought it may have been a suicide.  We will never know for sure as there were no witnesses to Doug's entry into the river.

I think of Doug often and wished he had been luckier in life.  He is missed.
